 - Note that The Due South Band has a second entry in the Top 20 with "Friday Night In Carolina". This band is proving that they have our listeners' support, now get out there and hear them play live (if you're in the Southeast, that is!). Otherwise...their first CD is on the way soon!

- The station is now # 4 in the Alt-Country genre on Live365.com (up from # 6). Let's all keep spreadin' the dirt and take Our Kind Of Music to # 1 ! We've recorded listeners from the USA and 30 other countries (including Afghanistan...OUR Troops, I hope!) in the past 30 days. The Dirt spreads World-Wide!

- Couple of the new bands showing some real staying power on the chart. The Southern Boys Band and the Due South Band are becoming mainstays on our list..."and why is this important?" you ask...Answer: shows they're not just the flavor of the week (or in this case, the month). As we all know, the songs make the charts because of our listeners' ratings...not my personal opinions (although I pretty much always agree!). When the listeners hit the "thumbs up" (or thumbs down) button on the player, something in the song has impressed them enough to make the effort to rate it!

- Outshyne, a band local to right here in Laurens County, SC makes it's debut at # 13 with "Carolina Shyne". Always good to see (and hear) the hometown boys make a world-wide impression! Google 'em to find out more and tell 'em Skydog's Red Dirt Radio sent you!!

- The "New Faces" show seems to be catching on...I've noticed the listener numbers steadily climbing. Be sure to listen in from 8 PM til 9:30 PM EST and let these folks know what you think...
