   Here we are, another year has passed. Not a particularly good one either. We endured another presidential election run of bullshit and promises that probably won't be kept...no matter who won. Then there were the crazy folks who thought the way to go was to take up a gun and shoot innocent people, both young and old. Don't know about you, but this ol' Dawg just does not understand it. This world ain't what it used to be...

   On a better note, our folks in the military continued to make us proud; in spite of our politicians and the idiots they're trying to train and protect turning on them. May God Bless each one and keep them safe until they come home!

   On the personal side, it's also been a year of highs and lows (not chemically induced, unfortunately!). After years of working over 80 hours a week, my ol' body decided it had enough...getting older sucks, by the way! Of course, my income (and the radio station) suffered. The station does not generate any income, since Live365 does not allow "personal broadcasters" to sell ads and the Cafepress T-shirt shop and the Amazon CD shop didn't bring in nearly enough to cover operating costs. We actually had to shut down the station for a good part of November and it hurt like Hell...but my family has to eat...

   But my faith in the listeners remains strong and Skydawg Radio WILL continue!  The November "break" cost us a lot in listener hours and rankings; PLEASE pass the station link to anyone you know who might like music that the corporate radio stations are afraid to play!
